INSTRUCTION BOOKLET
We are pleased to welcome you as our customer. The watch you have purchased is guaranteed against all manufacturing defects for 24 months from the date of purchase. Any part found defective due to a manufacturing fault, as duly verified by our technical service, will be replaced free of charge. The International Warranty strictly excludes damage resulting from accidents or improper use (impact, crushing, etc.), use of non-specified batteries, discharged batteries left inside the watch, alterations, damage, repairs or tampering by unauthorised third parties. The warranty also excludes batteries, crystals, and discoloration of plating or colour resulting from normal wear and ageing of the watch.
USAGE TIPS
Do not operate the crown while the watch is underwater. If your watch has a screw-down crown, unscrew it before use:
- Turn the crown anticlockwise until it releases from its seat.
- Use the crown to set the time/date.
- Screw the crown back in to restore water resistance.
Always avoid violent impacts (e.g. diving into water). After exposure to salt water, rinse the watch with fresh water and dry it. Do not expose the watch to high temperatures (above 60 °C / 140 °F) for prolonged periods. Avoid contact with perfumes, petrol and solvents. Have the gaskets checked for water resistance whenever the battery is replaced.
FIRST USE
When using the watch for the first time, or after a period of inactivity or when it has stopped, wind it manually by gently turning the crown clockwise at least 25 times. This ensures the accuracy and correct operation of the timepiece. A watch worn regularly every day does not require manual winding.
